Plymouth Illustrators meet-up / Sketch Picnic

Come along to our second sketch picnic of 2025 for illustrators based in Plymouth, this time we will be hosting a super-friendly picnic social in Beaumont Park.

This meet-up is about getting to know each other whilst sketching the gorgeous landscape of one of our vibrant local parks. Beaumont Park is a small park a short walk from Plymouth City Centre with plenty of local wildlife including birds and squirrels, many people walk their dogs in this park as well so it is a great opportunity to get some quick sketches in whilst getting to know the local illustration community!

The meeting is a chance to…

• Meet and chat to other illustrators from Plymouth.
• Have your say on what these meet-ups can do to help you as an illustrator.
• Shape the Plymouth meet-up programme, so we can organise talks, workshops and events, which are fun, informative and make a real difference to you as an illustrator.

Most importantly, it’s a chance to feel supported and part of the lovely Plymouth illustration community, because we get that illustration can feel like a lonely business sometimes.Whilst not compulsory for attendance, we appreciate anyone who can bring nibbles and drinks that can be shared with the group, as well as any blankets for people to sit on!

Location: Beaumont Park, Plymouth. Meet near the little house in the park!

This event will be relocated to The Box, where we will meet at the bottom of the stairs just past the gift shop.
