Kick off 2026 with creativity, collaboration, and the Swansea Illustrators Club [SIC]!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Whether you\u2019ve already broken your New Year\u2019s resolutions or are still sticking to them, they make for excellent creative fuel. Join us at Elysium<\/a> for our first meet-up of the year: a dynamic 2-hour workshop focused on the art of the Visual Metaphor<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Workshop<\/strong> – In this session, we will move away from literal interpretations and explore how to communicate abstract concepts through drawing. Using “New Year’s Resolutions” as our prompts, we will tackle a series of quick-fire exercises designed to stretch your lateral thinking muscles.<\/p>\n

This is a chance to:<\/strong><\/p>\n

> Collaborate & Connect:<\/strong> Share work and ideas with fellow illustrators in a relaxed group setting.
\n> Get Feedback:<\/strong> Receive constructive input from industry professionals and peers.
\n> Play:<\/strong> Enjoy a genuinely fun, low-pressure environment to experiment with new ideas.<\/p>\n

Materials Provided (The “Lo-Fi” Edit)<\/strong> We believe creativity thrives within constraints! We will be providing the materials, embracing a “back-to-basics” approach with classic pencils and A3 copier paper. No need to bring expensive equipment (unless you want to)\u2014just bring your brain and your enthusiasm.<\/p>\n
