Rough Draft – our Edinburgh illustrator meet-up – are<\/strong> excited to be joined online by their first ever guest speaker: Edinburgh-based, award-winning author and illustrator, Hari Conner<\/strong> for a short presentation on their work. <\/strong><\/p>\n

This will be followed by an \u2018Ask Me Anything\u2019 to learn more about Hari\u2019s illustration, comics process, graphic novels and publishing.<\/p>\n

Primarily working in longform comics, Hari mostly draws and writes fantasy, historical and LGBT+ romance, often at the same time. Their gamebooks include the ENNIE-nominated Into the Dungeon<\/em><\/a>, and their comics include the multi-award-winning webcomic Finding Home<\/em><\/a>. Their most recent graphic novel I Shall Never Fall In Love<\/em><\/a> was a Waterstones and bookshop.org Best YA 2024.<\/em><\/p>\n
