Our next AOI Discusses session will explore how we can support ourselves and build resilience amongst uncertainty.<\/strong><\/p>\n

We appreciate that times are particularly challenging in the creative industry, and the wider the world. In this conversation, we\u2019ll be discussing building resilience in uncertain times, because if there\u2019s one thing we\u2019ve learnt over the years, it\u2019s that resilience is the antidote to uncertainty. By building resilience, individuals and organizations can better navigate inevitable uncertainties of life and even turn them into opportunities for growth and innovation.<\/p>\n

We will be in conversation with artist and award winning illustrator and creative mentor, Claudine O’ Sullivan<\/a> and Managing Agent & Producer Clara Marcus<\/a>, at Jacky Winter. We invite you to join us, in bringing the community together in a safe space to share, support and inspire. Our Speakers<\/strong><\/p>\n

Claudine O’ Sullivan<\/a> is a WIA winner<\/a> with over a decade of industry experience, specialising in brand activation, packaging, and content creation. Her client portfolio includes major names such as Apple, Twitter, MTV, Jameson Whiskey, Island Records, and The National Trust. She has also led a variety of creative workshops for organisations including Derwent Pencils, the Royal Academy of Arts, Apple, Cass Art, London Graphic Centre, and John Lewis. During a recent career break, she presented a selection of her personal work in a solo exhibition, Blood, Milk and Tears<\/em>, at the London Irish Centre in March 2024. Throughout this period, she has continued her creative engagement as a mentor for The AOI <\/a>and as a Derwent Artist Ambassador.<\/p>\n

Clara Marcus<\/a> is the Managing Agent & Producer at the European office of The Jacky Winter Group<\/a>, a global artists\u2019 agency representing over 100 exceptionally talented illustrators and animators.With over a decade of experience in production roles across creative studios and arts organisations, Clara brings industry knowledge and an eye for creative matchmaking. She connects clients in advertising, design, tech, and publishing with the right artist to bring their ideas to life\u2014and works closely with the artists themselves to shape careers that are both creatively rewarding and financially sustainable.Clara lives in south-east London with her young family and an impressively large ginger cat.<\/p>\n
