We’ll trace his path as an artist working in the open\, exploring the risks\, missteps\, and breakthroughs behind his work. \nFollowing the talk\, there will be time for questions\, conversation\, and connection. \nJoin us for an inspiring conversation upstairs at The American Bar (Belfast BT15 1LF) on Wednesday 11 March\, from 7pm. \nJoe Caslin is an Irish street artist\, academic and activist. Best known for his beautifully rendered pencil drawings\, which manifest as towering pieces of street art. His highly accessible work engages directly with social issues on an unavoidable scale. Caslin is known to tackle pressing and often challenging themes head-on\, including suicide\, drug addiction\, marriage equality\, immigration\, consent\, disability and gender-based violence. The monochrome drawings Caslin creates live with us for some time before washing away. \nFind more information and book your ticket here \n  \nAbout Illustrators North: \nIllustrators North has a vision to build a community of thriving illustrators in Northern Ireland\, via events and meet-ups and more!
