Your Sketchbook Journey : Drawn In x Sketch and Cafe
Meet UpsTwo of Manchester’s most loved creative communities are joining forces for a mid-year meetup and summer evening of creativity, reflection and connection, and you’re invited!
This July, Drawn In and Sketch and Cafe are teaming up for a collaborative summer event celebrating Your Sketchbook Journey.
Whether you’re an experienced illustrator or just getting started, this is a space to reconnect with your creative practice, meet new faces, and find a little direction and inspiration as we head into the second half of the year.
Please bring a sketchbook, paper or drawing tablet, along with your drawing materials.
What to expect:
Honest discussions / We’ll begin with a relaxed reflection looking back at what’s been working for you in 2025; your sketchbook habits, creative wins, challenges and breakthroughs. We’ll also be setting intentions for what you want your creative journey to look like for the rest of the year.
Guided sketchbook session / Then, the wonderful Jenny Ho, illustrator and founder of Sketch and Cafe will be doing what she does best, leading us through an inspiring drawing session filled with creative prompts, low-pressure exploration, and meaningful conversation, to get your creative juices flowing again.
Grab a drink and unwind / Afterwards, stick around for a relaxed drink and chat with Manchester’s vibrant creative crowd. Share your pages, meet new faces, and unwind in the buzzing Fairfield Social Club.
